Mr. Mathews Taapopi Hamutenya, affectionally called MTH is founder and currently holds the position of Executive Chairperson for the Millennium Group. Mr. Hamutenya is an entrepreneur and a focused visionary leader, who has become one of Namibia’s most prominent businessmen recognized for talents in strategy development and providing corporate vision.

Mr. Hamutenya held the position of Deputy Chairperson for National Petroleum Corporation of Namibia (NAMCOR) in the past for a period of 5 years. His successes and accomplishments in the entrepreneurial and leadership world have attracted much recognition by local and international observers. Locally, in (2009) he was inducted into the Laureate of the Namibian Business Hall of Fame. In addition, he became a member to the World Energy Council: Namibia Member Committee of the (WEC) by the Minister of Mines and Energy. In (2011), Millennium Investment Holdings (Pty) Ltd, under his leadership, received the Century International Quality ERA Award in Geneva, Switzerland.

In addition to his exceptional proficiency in negotiation, execution of business strategies, with Executive management investments. MTH holds a Post Graduate Diploma as well as an MBA from the Bradford University School of Management. He is also obtained a postgraduate certificate in Financial Business Management from the Woodland Height College in Cape Town.
