Miguel Hamutenya’s appointment as CEO of the Millennium Group of Companies has been effective as from 1 June 2023. Since 2016, Miguel Hamutenya held different positions at Millennium Investments Holdings. He currently serves as the Executive Director of Millennium Group of Companies.

Additionally, he serves as a Board Member for various subsidiaries within the group. He is also a Regional Executive Manager of Validus Energy (Namibia) Pty Ltd, an entity owned jointly by Vitol and Millennium Power (Pty) Ltd. His vast involvement in petroleum trading has also landed him a seat on the executive committee of several petroleum associations.

His education credentials include Masters Degree in Energy and Sustainability from the University of Cumbria. Further, he has also obtained an Honours Degree in Business Management from United Business school in Madrid, Postgraduate Diploma in Business Communications from the Norwegian Business School, Postgraduate Corporate Finance certificate from European School of Economics in London.
